The netting and the boom caught most runaway boats.

 

Some boats did get over the barrier, a second rescue
boat was used to recover them whilst normal rescue
 continued on the race lake.

 

Peter Schaft joins the rescue team to try and stop a
boat circling out of control in the pits straight.
