CMB 45 RS

CMB have introduced a new 45 engine called CMB 45RS. The main changes from the previous EVO 45 2/2
are a ball race in the crankcase
instead of the needle roller and a wider stronger crankcase. Existing gearboxes will require modifications (if possible) to accept the new engines.
Note :- To use the EVO piston and liner in the RS kit you must cut 0.5mm off the bottom of the piston

The engine comes complete with carburettor

The main visible difference is the ball bearing in the crankcase.

For May 2004 only CMB are selling a kit to convert your EVO 45 2/2 into an 45 RS.
The contents of the kit are shown above
